September just flew by! We started homeschool, my work schedule picked up, and Jesse has had plenty of school work as well. The kids and I have figured out a routine of shopping at Aldi and H-E-B on Monday mornings (we skip Aldi every other week when we are just doing fill in trips). Ah, August. I had good intentions to lower the grocery bill, and then I totally didn't. But we did eat out less often and have more snacks at home, so that's still progress in the overall budget. Grocery Breakdown: July 2018
We shopped quite a bit in July. Some of it was replenishing pantry and freezer items from moving. Some of it was just because we weren't in a routine yet (normally I shop on Mondays), so we went more often. As a result, we spent a bit more than I would have liked.
